Earn SQP CPD points on our Infection Control course

ONCORE’s Practical Infection Control course has been accredited by AMTRA for 32 CPD points, so if you are an SQP looking to build up your points, then our course will offer you an easy and convenient way to do this.

AMTRA and CPD

All AMTRA (Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority) SQPs (suitably qualified persons) are required to undertake Continuing Professional Development, and the amount of CPD required depends on your SQP status and when you qualified.

AMTRA outlines that with the exception of small amounts of personal study, all CPD must be accredited by AMTRA in advance.

AMTRA will keep a record of CPD points accumulated by SQPs, and those not achieving the required minimum will not be able to renew their SQP registration unless they pass a fresh exam.

You can find out more about CPD for SQPs here.
